The Story Behind ACS Commercial Cleaning
Hannah Kasay is the founder, owner and CEO of ACS Commercial Cleaning, a Melbourne-based commercial cleaning company she started in 2015. She still leads the business day to day, and she’s personally invested in how every site is looked after.
Before starting ACS, Hannah was a Business Manager for an employment services company, responsible for running three offices. It was there, in around 2013, that the idea for ACS first took shape.
The offices had a problem that’ll sound familiar to plenty of Melbourne businesses: finding a cleaner who actually cleaned. Working late, Hannah would see cleaners arrive, stay half an hour and leave the office barely touched. Staff complained, Hannah escalated it to head office, and the answer was always to switch providers. A few months later, the same thing would happen again.
That cycle stuck with her. As Hannah puts it, “Surely there should be a cleaning company that cleans old-school style and stays consistent.” In 2015, she set out to build one, and ACS Commercial Cleaning was born.

Hannah built ACS around one simple idea: when something isn’t right, someone has to own it. At ACS, that someone is us.
